European soils are vital for climate resilience and food security, yet they face increasing degradation. To combat this, the EU-funded SOILL-Stepup project is expanding a dynamic ‘one-stop-shop’ supporting the EU Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’. It also strengthens the network of Mission Soil living labs and lighthouses, providing a centralised platform for innovation and collaboration. By offering personalised mentoring, training and matchmaking, SOILL-Stepup helps researchers and farmers implement sustainable soil solutions. Through its integrated hub and harmonised monitoring system, the project identifies emerging initiatives and accelerates the adoption of healthy soil practices. This strategic expansion is essential for restoring Europe’s land and securing a sustainable agricultural future across the continent.
