Description: The focus of the Conference is on the upcoming ‘’New Strategic Approach to Research and Innovation for competitive, resilient and sustainable agriculture, forestry, rural areas and food systems: Future-proofing EU agri-food through AgRI 2040 and Food 2040”.
The two-day event will offer a space for reflection, exchange and co-creation with key stakeholders on priorities for future agriculture, forestry and rural R&I. The overall aim is to help deliver the ambitions of the Vision for Agriculture and Food through the next EU Research and Innovation Programme 2028-34 (FP10) and the future European Competitiveness Fund (ECF).
The Conference will bring together a wide spectrum of actors of the farming, forestry and rural R&I communities, including high-level government representatives, policy-makers, research institutions, research funders, scientists and academia, representatives of the farming and forestry sectors and related professions, including farmers, businesses, innovators, start-ups, SMEs, advisors, knowledge brokers, knowledge multipliers and facilitators, and NGOs.
