What does the support include?
Up to 33 farming entities will be selected to join GroundWork’s five Living Labs: up to seven farms each in Portugal, Belgium, Serbia and Sweden, and up to five in Germany.
Selected farms will receive a lump-sum grant of up to €27,000, paid in instalments upon completion of programme milestones over the 36-month programme.
Participants will also benefit from:
- A tailored Custom Farm Evolution Plan
- Ongoing mentoring and guidance
- Access to a network of farmers and experts
- Opportunities for knowledge exchange through the Living Labs
Through this support, farmers will test and adapt Regenerative Livestock Grazing Practices (RLGPs) under real farming conditions, working with researchers and advisors to develop approaches suited to their local context.
Who can apply?
The Open Call is open to farmers and farming entities legally established in Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Sweden or Serbia, subject to the eligibility requirements of the relevant Living Lab.
How and when can you apply?
Applications open on 1 September 2026 and close on 19 November 2026 at 15:00 Brussels time.
