While Living Labs are collaborative initiatives to co-create knowledge and innovations, Lighthouses are sites for demonstration of exemplary solutions, training, peer-to-peer learning, and communications related to improving soil health. Unlike Living Labs, they are individual sites, such as an individual farm, forest exploitation, industrial site, or urban city green area. Lighthouses can be included in a Living Lab area. However, they could also be located outside of Living Lab areas.
