Living Labs are places where people, technology, and organizations come together to co-create and test new solutions to societal challenges. They are a powerful tool for innovation and collaboration, and have been used to address a wide range of issues, from urban planning and transport to healthcare and education.
The European Union is increasingly recognizing the value of Living Labs in its innovation strategies. In Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship research and innovation program, Living Labs are specifically mentioned as a key approach for developing and testing new technologies and solutions.
Objective
The primary objective of the event is to facilitate a dialogue among stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and living lab practitioners to explore the contribution of Living Labs in the context of European Partnerships. By examining the current status and envisioning future collaborations, the event aims to highlight the transformative impact Living Labs can have in advancing innovation and addressing societal challenges.
Target Audience
The event is designed for a diverse audience, including representatives from European Partnerships, policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts. The diversity of perspectives will enrich the discussions and foster cross-pollination of ideas.
Outcome
By the end of the event, participants should gain a deeper understanding of how Living Labs can serve as catalysts for innovation within the framework of European Partnerships.
